Biography
Faria Hossain Ikra is an emerging researcher, environmental advocate, and youth climate leader with experience in climate change, humanitarian response, and community-based research. As a Researcher at CMG Research International Ltd., she contributes to research proposal development, research design, field data collection, and data management. She is also a Green Speaker with Greenpeace Southeast Asia (SEA), where she has actively promoted climate awareness and environmental education through public speaking, community engagement, and advocacy campaigns across the region. Her humanitarian experience includes supporting disaster risk reduction (DRR), WASH, and needs assessments for Rohingya refugee communities. Faria represented Bangladesh at COP29 as a Youth Fellow, contributing to international climate policy dialogues and youth-led advocacy. She is currently pursuing an LLB at the University of London and is committed to advancing evidence-based research for climate resilience, sustainable development, and social justice.
