Biography
Asma Akter is a dedicated humanitarian and development professional with around 12 years of experience in programme management, humanitarian response, WASH, hygiene promotion, disaster risk reduction (DRR), emergency response, community engagement, emergency food security, and humanitarian coordination. She has extensive experience in managing multi-sectoral humanitarian and development programmes, including strategic planning, partnership management, emergency assessments, monitoring and evaluation, capacity building, and public health promotion. She has successfully collaborated with UN agencies, international and national NGOs, government institutions, and development partners to deliver effective humanitarian interventions. As Program Manager at CMG Research International Ltd., she will lead programme implementation, strengthen partnerships, and oversee the delivery of high-quality research and development initiatives that promote community resilience and sustainable development.
